Nifty fax machine March 30, 2005 68 out of 71 found this review helpful
The Sharp UX-B20 fax machine is easy to set up, does all that I want in a fax machine, prints on plain paper, and uses an ink jet cartridge rather than the hard-to-install roll of ink film. Also, the design of the machine is the "cleanest" and most compact I've seen. The ink cartridge is expensive, about twice as expensive as a roll of ink film. However, it will last about 500 sheets whereas a roll of ink film will only last about 250 sheets. So, the cost of the cartridge is very comparable. Rolls of film are usually about half the cost of the cartridge. Half the cost, but only half the number of sheets!! I like this machine!!
Good Machine! August 3, 2005 25 out of 29 found this review helpful
Very easy to operate, good fax and print quality, and looks great.
Excellent little fax machine and priced right. February 17, 2006 15 out of 17 found this review helpful
Ordered this through Amazon and was happy with response time and shipping. This fax machine is ideal for a small office/home office with a dedicated fax line. Believe it or not, I just replaced my old Sharp fax that used the thermal rolls which I prefer since no ink supplies were necessary. But so far this works great. It has way more features and funtionality than I will ever need since I just send and receive occassional faxes. Quality is excellent and set up was quick and easy. Footprint is small too so it doesn't take much desk space. I only have one small complaint. The lowest number of rings you can set it to when receiving a fax is 2 rings. I would prefer a Zero setting, so I don't have to hear it ring at all. But at this price, how can you complain? It's worth the $90 (including shipping.)
GREAT UNIT WITH GREAT PRICE! January 14, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Love this fax machine. Very good price and so easy to use. I bought this unit for my elderly parents so that they can fax me mail whenever in question. I needed one that would be easy for them to use as they are not computer literate. This unit is an inkjet was bought and replaced a very old unit that was carbon roll... Love it. Highly recommend this unit to anyone, good price for a good unit.

I liked my original sharp same model which I had for years. When it came time to replace it, I found all the other models cost a great deal more.
