This machine is efficent and works very well in a small space. Def. a product to have at home or the office.

This is my second brother laser fax machine; I replaced the first after 5+ years to get the 33.6 increased speed, not because it wore out (or broke). I have had it over 13 months and remain glad I upgraded; it's fast enough both in and out (just saw the review complaining about this when I came to Amazon to buy toner). Maybe commercial fax machines are faster but for my home based business its quite sufficient(1 to 50 page faxes are my norm). What I really like about Brother is the ink cartridges; use them for my laser printer needs too. My cost per page are lower than HP ever was and I prefer having a dedicated fax better then an all in one. The only thing I would change about Brother is the firm's lack of recycling involvement. They do not provide a prepaid label so I have to drop the cartridges elsewhere.

If like me you are a non-mechanical type but always want quality products, this excellent fax machine fits that bill completely. I recommend it highly. It has clear printing and is so easy to use.

This fax machine has been a great upgrade from the 2800 model we had in the office. The output "tray" is a much better design, it actually holds the incoming faxes in that spot, versus the incoming pages flying out of the machine. Overall, we're all very satisfied with this purchase.
Nice piece of equipment May 9, 2007
This is my second Brother Fax machine, and after thorough review of all that's available out there, Brother leads the way in Fax technology. Great machine, excellent value.
