Easy to Use Fax Machine March 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this as a gift for my parents who did not want a fax associated with a computer printer. They absolutely love it. It was easy to set up, and the quality of both copies and faxes received is excellent.
I have other Canon products, and Canon customer service is one of the best in the industry. Although, my parents have not yet had any questions about this item, I have on other Canon products I own. Canon is always very helpful and willing to answer any question, plus they totally stand behind their products.
I would highly recommend this product if you are looking for a basic fax machine with excellent print quality and a low price.
great fax September 8, 2008 This product has had zero failings in the last three weeks of operation. Once it ran out of paper, but the last five pages were captured in memory and they printed after loading paper.

Very nice fax. Does everything one would wish for in a fax. Only minor annoyance is that the faxed sheet comes out at the bottom of the front of the machine and scoots onto the floor.
Great fax's July 10, 2008 This was just what I was looking for, a fast Fax machine that holds a decent amount of paper and has good memory for when you run out of paper and nobody notices. I gave it a four star becouse it met all my expectations but it didn't go above and beyond.
A good unit except for one feature. August 23, 2007 25 out of 28 found this review helpful
This Cannon fax is a good stylish machine that produced clean fast faxes. It has a major drawback in my application in that it always answers the call on the second ring making it the primary device in my system. I use the fax on my office land line which has an answering machine as part of the phone system. I need to have the fax wait for me to answer the phone (or the answering machine answer) befor the fax picks up. The fax machine also needs to automatically take the fax from the answering machine when the fax tone is recieved. I know this is a specific function, but I need it to work this way. The Cannon unit won't do what I need, so it is now in my son's office, and I purchased a Sharp UXB700E which has an adjustable number of rings befor answering. This solves my problem. One more note, it is unnecessarily complicated to print stored faxes should you run out of paper.
